The firm has been founded by Matteo Ghisalberti, who reached his professional maturity in the firm of the Professor Gianfranco Graziadei, of which he was a partner for over a decade, and by Marco De Rossi, who has gained his professional experience in the “Vita Samory, Fabbrini and Partners” law firm that was based in Milan and then founded, along with five other professionals, the firm “Dodaro, Varì and partners” in Rome.


Combining experience and attention to client relations, the firm provides assistance in both commercial and corporate matters. On the basis of specializations procured and enhanced over time the firm is able to offer and ensure high-profile assistance on banking, bankruptcy law, aviation and commercial enterprise contracts with a flexible and pragmatic approach, working out the best solutions in accordance to the needs of the client.

Our consolidated collaborative relationships with our of counsels allow us to also provide specialized assistance in employment / labour law – including litigation and the optimization/planning of human resources, and tax law (disputes with the tax authorities and with agents for tax collection).

The structure of our firm, streamlined and specialized, is able to offer commercial companies (small and medium and also multinational) the same kind of assistance to that offered by international law firms, ensuring a high quality outcome coupled with a high value for money balance.

Contract law: assistance in negotiating and drafting (also in English) all the contracts most frequently used by companies (including multinationals), including non-typical contracts, and those used in international practice, selection of the most appropriate organizational forms, preparation of necessary documentation, management of trading activities and interaction with any competent supervisory authorities; 

Assistance with extraordinary operations, incorporation and reorganization of companies, enterprises and consortiums; assistance in the procurement of financial resources in terms of venture capital; acquisition initiatives and divestment of companies and investments, establishment of joint ventures, legal due diligence and analysis and definition of the labour law aspects involved; 

Intellectual property law: assistance in the phase of protection of intellectual property works under copyright or patent protection and in the phase of economic exploitation, as well as in any disputes concerning its originality, ownership, theft;

Assistance and representation in any dispute concerning commercial interests (including tax aspects). The assistance also covers the Supreme Courts.

From the beginning of his professional activities, in the firm of Professor Gianfranco Graziadei, of which he was made partner in 2004, Matteo has provided ongoing support in favour of primary commercial and financial institutions, developing a particular expertise in banking law, finance and bankruptcy. Since 1999 he has also undertaken cases pertaining to bank/customer relationship, having assisted various Italian banks and finance companies in disputes issued by corporate customers and investors alike.

Matteo currently is legal clinic’s professor in the classes of “law of the consumers” conducted by the Department of Law of the University of Roma Tre.  Since 2010, he has been a teacher of banking and financial law module, part of the Masters degree programme, hosted by “L.U.I.S.S. Guido Carli” University, Rome.

In addition, he is lecturing on Banking law, Stocks exchange law and Commercial Law at the Faculty of “L.U.I.S.S. Guido Carli” University, Rome.

He is the author of publications on corporate and financial law, and most recently, he edited the Commentary to the Consolidated Law on Finance, published by UTET (Torino) in 2012 (particularly the provisions relating to the Investment Company With Variable Capital, so called SICAV).

Marco gained experience in corporate law, with special regards to the acquisitions and transfer of shareholdings and companies, assistance in the start-up formation of companies and consortiums, pre-contractual analysis and agreements and in negotiation and drafting of contractual documents necessary for the definition of the operations.

In the practice of civil law litigation, Marco assists clients in litigation and pathological stages of the business and private relations, with particular reference to disputes in bankruptcy proceedings, contractual relationships of agency, supplying contracts, commercial leasing, IP law, transport law.

He assisted several small and medium companies in arbitration proceedings. 

In the specific field of bankruptcy law, he is also appointed as bankruptcy trustee by the Ministry of Economic Development (MiSE). 

Since 2004, he is appointed as assistant professor in Civil Lawat the Faculty of Economics, of “L.U.I.S.S. Guido Carli” University, Rome.
